As I sit down to type this to you, I am full of nothing but love and gratefulness for you mom. Thank you for always being there any moment in my life. Your unlimited support and patience has shaped me into the student and person I am overall. From the countless of sacrifices you have done throughout the years. Especially this year as a senior that's been the most difficult not only for me but you as well, as I began to get more involved with school and extracurriculars. Even just taking me to and picking me up from practice or any school event, or even just supporting me with my decisions has been such a big help during the year. Your help and love is shown through all the support you have shown to me. I am truly grateful for your wisdom and all the lessons you have taught me. You've shown me how to be a strong individual. Your strength through any challenge has shown me the person you are which is amazing. You are the best and i am lucky to have you as my mom. Thanks for always putting up with me the good or bad days and having my back. I love and appreciate you mom.
I will now be describing some pictures i have uploaded onto my page that are some of my favorite.

In this image i took of the popping balloon. I set up my camera with a fast shutter speed to capture the exact moment the balloon popped at around 1/1000th of a second. someone from class had to hold the ballon, pop it with a pin, before popping it they'd have to start a countdown to let us know when they were going to pop the balloon. I focused on the balloon and timed the shot perfectly to freeze the action as the ballon burst. While doing this i continously took pictures to capture a great picture.

I took an up close shot of a vibrant orange flower, using a wide aperture like f/2.8 to create a shallow depth of field. this made the background really pretty and blurry. The blurred background draws all the attention to the bright orange flower and the details to it. The soft blur adds a contrast to the which makes the flower stand out more.

I set up my camera to take a picture of my classmate standing infront of a ceramic mural that had a repetitive pattern. To follow the composition style of breaking a pattern, i positioned valerie slightly off-center a little to the right to disrupt the pattern background. I used a moderate aperture of around f/ 5.6 to be able to keep the background and valerie in focus. It captured a great image of her standing out against the repetitive background.
